One of our sponsors, the Dutch car rental company Masterlease, made a magnificent gesture by providing a brandnew Toyota Landcruiser bush-ambulance, with all the fittings needed for heavy-duty use in The Gambia.
The ambulance was delivered in The Gambia in june 2008. Mr. Bernd van Vroenhoven, representative of Masterlease BV, was present during the delivery.
In case of a medical emegency, patients will no longer have to be carried on a twenty kilometres long dirtroad by foot.
